Chicago Area Salvation Army Band Concert
Mark your calendars now for what will be an inspiring and entertaining musical evening in Evangel’s sanctuary
on Sat., Apr. 20 at 7:00 p.m. The Rochester Salvation Army is bringing the world class Chicago area 35-piece
Salvation Army Band to Rochester, and they have asked Evangel to be the host. What an honor!
The band is comprised of Salvation Army staff from around the Midwest and is as professional as can be with-
out getting paid! This concert is FREE. Ask your friends and family to join in for this special night. Let’s fill our
sanctuary for this very rare opportunity!
Evangel Kids Club Homestead Arts Farm
Evangel Kids club will be making our first ever visit to the 32 -acre Homestead Arts Farms to visit and interact with an Alpaca Herd! We will tour the farm which includes feeding and playing with the cutest, most gentle Alpaca’s you could possibly imagine. We will also shell corn for feed for the chickens, tour a blacksmith shop, and be educated on the raising of Alpaca and Sheep and the wool they produce.
In addition, we will have the opportunity to shop in the barn boutique for many fine alpaca products such as scarves, hats, socks, and gloves. Hand knit items and many gifts are also available.
Homestead arts Farm is well known for their immaculate grounds and superior care for their many animals. Come spend the afternoon with Evangel Kids Club to experience the sights and sounds of the farm and to get up close to some of the most beautiful ‘critters’ on earth!!What: Evangel Kids club April activity: “An Afternoon with the Alpaca’s “

End of the school year celebration
Join us for a fun day of celebration on Sunday, May 19 as we celebrate the end of Sunday School and the start of summer.

JOin the tech team
The Tech Team is the technical heart of worship at Evangel. There are opportunities for people to work the cameras during a service, run the slides for the big screens during the service, or run the sound during the service. Don't worry if you don't know how to do these things. We will train you if you think it is something you would like to do.

join the evangel choir
The Evangel Choir sings at the 8:30 AM Traditional Service from September through the first week in June. Rehearsals are on Thursdays at 7:30PM in the Sanctuary. Anyone in senior high and above who enjoys singing is welcome to join the fun. If you are interested, you are welcome to join on Thursday nights or contact Choir Director Pam Wright at 507-289-8760; pkowright@charter.net. Help us in praising God through music!
