Dear Parents of students in grades 6-12,

Hello! My name is Mike Cheney, and I am the Director of Student Ministry here at Evangel. We love students and are committed to them heart and soul. We don't have a "great program" here for students. Instead, we have a ministry in which each one is an important part of it! We do have a lot of fun at R.I.O.T. However, everything is designed with the purpose in mind of helping teens to grow in their relationship with Jesus Christ.

The safety of our students is of primary concern to us. Each of our adult leaders (including myself) have had background screenings done and are chosen according to what we believe what a godly leader should be. It is our rule that no adult leader is allowed to be alone with a student. Even if a student needs to talk to someone, there will always be at least two adults present.

It is our goal to warmly welcome any new incoming students and make sure that they each know that they are loved and cared for, and that we are here for them any time they need us to be.
