Men’s Ministry at Evangel is a vibrant and integral core ministry of Evangel Church. Every man at Evangel is considered a “Soulbrother” and is invited into the life of Soulbrothers Men’s Ministry. The Soulbrothers Ministry exists to engage men of Evangel and the Rochester community to establish/deepen their relationship to Jesus Christ, to gather with other men in a spiritual environment, and to serve Christ by building His kingdom. Soulbrother Ministry and opportunities include:
- Bible Study (“Letters from Dad,” “Wild at heart,” chapter studies and more.
- Mission Trips (Hurricane relief work in Florida, Mississippi, & Cozmel, Mexico)
- Community Service (Ronald McDonald House, Gift of Life Transplant House)
- Fellowship Events (sports celebrities, news anchors, & more)
- Outdoor Adventure (Boundary Waters canoe trips, mountain backpacking, etc.)
- Sports (biking, basketball, Twins games)
- SSBB (Soulbrothers Body Builders) some projects for Evangel members – moving, repairs, etc.
Every man is invited into Evangel Soulbrothers. Whether it is shooting hoops, studying scripture, or roofing a home on the Gulf Coast … all men will have the opportunity for meaningful and relevant relationships with other men. All men are welcome!
HeartSISTERS is for Women Only! We are an anonymous group of Sisters in Christ who pray for each. A year full of surprises and blessings awaits you! Special events hosted during the year 'by women for women' only! And don't forget to meet Molly & Milly, the original Evangel Church Ladies!
United Methodist Circles:
Ruth Circle - meets the Thursday following the third Sunday of each month at 9 am
Lydia Circle - meets the Thursday following the third Sunday of each month at 1 pm
Sewing Circle - meets every Monday morning at 9 am
