WHY MISSIONS?

Because God mandates it. Missions is the means by which we spread the gospel - the Good News of Jesus Christ. And being in Missions is the responsibility of every Christian to love as Jesus loved; to live as Jesus lived; to walk as Jesus lived.

Evangel Church is known as a "giving" church. We currently are responsible for a mission budget of close to $50,000. From these monies we prayerfully support local, national, and international missions and persons in mission. We have a covenant relationship with 22 missionaries which accounts for close to $40,000 of our budget. It is our prayer that as we partner with the persons we fulfill the gospels' call to the great "co-mission". It is our mission to "Co" with those who "Go" so others may know.
